Positive Mental Attitude


Positivity: My top 3 things to be positive. Being positive is a good thing to be. Life is already hard enough. Being a positive person is something to be learned and are skills to be developed. We aren’t necessarily born positive or born negative. Its skills to be learned just like anything.

  1. Be your own best friend. Talk to yourself with love and compassion.
  2. Be yourself. Be truthful and honest to yourself. Don’t let the judgements and the fear of others stop you. Confidence comes when you acknowledge who you truly are and you put it out there to the world.
  3. Be grateful. Gratitude is only second only to love.  One of the most powerful sources.


It doesn’t mean you’re always gonna feel good. Being positive isn’t about always feeling good. It’s about shining light into the darkness. That being said and done, there is still no sure way to always feel good. But we can focus our attention on the good, rather than the bad.

All our emotions…the positive, the negative, the good times, the bad times; they’re all part of the journey. It all just happens. They’re all here to teach us something. Being positive is a really great tool to navigate through life that can help you and help others around you.

It’s so easy to put ourselves down and to talk down to ourselves. We are our own worst enemies part of the time. We give ourselves such a hard time…. but why?   We hear our own voice more than anyone else’s. We hear our voice 24-7. We all make mistakes and those mistakes are how we learn.

Life is short. It goes quick and you’re gonna be in your body the whole time. You’re gonna be in your mind the whole time. Don’t let your mind be the enemy. As soon as you recognize you are talking negative to yourself, flip the switch.
There’s only one of you in the world. You are unique, so shine bright and be you.
